It only feels appropriate that international soccer star David Beckham is today’s guy candy. It was announced today that Becks is not going to go back to Europe to play for a French team and is going to remain with the LA Galaxy. Casual or dressed to impress Becks is always at his best. Not to mention that chicks also dig his accent.

Guy Candy of the Day: Curtis Granderson
Today’s Guy Candy of the Day is New York Yankees centerfielder Curtis Granderson. Not only does he play like an MVP he also dresses like one. Granderson is perhaps most well-known for his style off the field for his custom tailored suits. Just look at his suit above, he’s one of a few people who can pull off a nice thin pinstripe suit without looking like one of the Goodfellas. To go with his good style he’s also a stand up guy, voted one of the nicest players in the MLB and wears his socks high to honor players from the Negro Leagues.

Guy Candy of the Day: Tom Brady
I mean come on, this guys kills it on and off the field. He’ll wear jeans and a tee, but throw on a blazer over it to keep it classy. To tie it all together and keep the sophisticated look he’ll often sport a scarf, sometimes plaid other times solid. Hell, the guy even looks fresh when he first wakes up to eat his Wheaties. The clean shaven business look is best pulled together by a simple white french-cuff button up and the matching white pocket square. Not everyone has his swag on the field, but some should take some swag pointers off the field. (yeah that goes for you Clinton Portis)

Today’s Guy Candy of the day is Justin Timberlake. This guy rarely leaves the house without his A game. JT is not afraid to try different things, as evidenced by his hat and glasses at a Lakers games. The common element of all of JT’s style are his suits. JT can take a simple white shirt with a black or blue suit and make it look fresh. When he’ still in his casual stuff he sticks to athletic-fit clothing that can show off his physique. JT’s best quality is that he can take dressy clothes and not make them look that dressy.

So every other website/blog out there is all about showing the tits and ass to their readers. The “Guy Candy” is a change of pace, we’re introducing this to give style tips that way the average guy can actually look presentable and pick up all the “smokeshows” out there. Guy Candy of the day is intended to help everyday guys out, not bros.
Introducing the first Guy Candy of Yankee Clipper Sports, Ryan Reynolds. This is a guy who carries himself well on both the red carpet and in everyday life. He keeps himself well groomed, never looking like a grub or bag of ass. He stays away from baggy clothing and never wears more than one or two pieces of the same style, unless it is a suit or a tux. Reynolds also sticks to neutral colors as they can be mixed and matched on a daily basis. Lastly, he often likes to mix styles from different eras that way he build his own sense of style.
